What do you do about footwear? Do you use hiking/hunting boots, or would it be practical to camouflage to your own tennis shoes?

Hey Nichole,

At the very least, I always (even in my daily footwear) choose colors that are muted earth tones. Tan is my favorite. I try to ensure that the soles are tan or brown as well. My favorite brand is Merrell with Vibram soles. I currently use the Merrell Pivot Lace. It’s a short ankle but very light, very comfortable with an exceptionally tractioned tread.

I have camouflaged my footwear at times. Usually with spray paints or just running them through the mud. A bit of ghillie tucked in the laces and heel can work wonders.

Great question! The feet can easily be forgotten and are really easy to spot if they aren’t camouflaged.

Glad I watched this again, since I am going to play in about a week and will be renting a marker. Got plenty of left over Multicam scraps and shock cord I use for my pack covers. Might make this something others can buy from me for $10 or so. Now I got a simple project for tonight lol.
