Four Stealth, Survival, Tactical and Awareness Instructors I Highly Recommend

I’ve been fortunate to have attended instruction from some premium teachers and schools in North America. My training has been unconventional, thorough, extreme and very realistic. I recommend all of these schools heartily.  I’ve included some rough estimates for the times that I’ve spent with these fine instructors, not to toot my own horn but to help you understand that the skills of stealth, awareness, camouflage and tactics do not come simply or overnight.  When I trained at these schools, it was immersive.  Several days at a time (usually a week) and between a minimum of 14 to 18 hours a day.  Saturation in realistic and intense training is the key to unlocking your depth.

Kevin Reeve, On Point Tactical

As recon and stealth schools go, I'd recommend Kevin and OPT to all paintball snipers and tactical players.Kevin takes legendary, ancient skills of the traditional people and adapts it for modern tactical situations. I took Kevin’s first-ever “Tactical Scout” class and lived in his backyard, eating breakfast with his family for a week while he taught us sick stuff in the Pine Barrens.  If there are two words I’d use to describe Kevin, they would be integral and thorough.  He didn’t pull punches.  He didn’t hold back “secrets”.  He unleashed his knowledge and had us drowning in it.  I consider Kevin one of the finest of these four and I consider him a friend.  My total training time with Kevin at OnPoint – 108+ hours

Tracker School provides second to none stealth training for paintball snipers.Tom Brown, Tracker School

Tom does what most others don’t. He pushes you into the dirt to actually practice and perfect your skills. His Standard class is the entry level course. But the Scout track of classes is where the stealth action is at. I’ve completed several levels and I’ll tell you right now, nothing else comes close.  Tom takes a lot of crap from the public, people who think they know him and what he teaches.  Let me tell you, this guy is the real deal.  He’s unconventional, and that’s what gets it done.  My total training time with Tracker School – 768+ hours plus uncountable extras outside of class time.

Bill McConnell, PAST SkillsBill McConnell is one of those guys who can just disappear into the landscape. Paintball snipers should learn from guys like this.

Mostly a primitive survival school, Bill teaches stealth and camouflage in a method unrivaled by any other school in the country.  Bill embodies passion.  Anyone who can hide well enough to have a deer step on his bowstring has put in his time.  Bill teaches from the heart, doesn’t hold anything back, makes you work for every inch and will inspire you to get it right.  Check out his “Scout Skills” and”Primitive Camouflage” courses.  (I trained under Bill before he launched PAST Skills.  Several dozen hours with him, directly and indirectly.)

Michael Jaco, Navy SEAL (ret.)

Mike taught me an immense amount in a short time.(Mike is currently working on books and workshops to do with combat intuition and the power of the mind and spirit.)
I trained under Mike for 17 days in topics like stealth, movement, tactical awareness, bladed weapons, team movement, communication, instinct and intuition, reading intent and tons more.  Mike blows apart the stereotype of commando and special forces.  This man is filled with love for people and has a sincere heart that wants to prevent harm before inflicting it.  But should the need arise, Mike’s the man you want on your side.  Total training time with Mike at Tactical Awareness School – 238+ hours

I think you need a list of instructors like this for areas around the country. I for one would love to find someone like this in the New York/Long Island area…

Do you know of any schools like this in Louisiana? I love the outdoors and would like to learn as much as I can so I can teach it to my kids.
